How to Fix the Missing Doc No. in Filing of Cancellation of Leave

On April 4, 2024, an employee wishes to cancel their previously filed leave for March 20. The leave request was submitted on February 29, 2024, with Document No. HR002_463000_20240229150101.

However, when attempting to file the cancellation of leave, the employee is unable to locate the Document No.

To fix this, we need to look the setting for Cancellation of Leave Settings in Transaction Form Setting.

  1. Go to Transaction module.
  2. Click Transaction Form Settings.
  3. Click Cancellation of Leave Settings.
  4. Given the current setup which is 10-day window, only employees who filed their leave requests between March 25 and April 4 are permitted to request a cancellation of leave. To accommodate leave requests filed on earlier dates, such as February 29, 2024, the Cancellation of Leave Settings must be adjusted to allow for a 35-day window.
    • Note. In the scenario where the Cancellation of Leave is being filed on April 4, for instance, and if the filing date of Cancellation of Leave shifts to April 5, 2024, the Cancellation of Leave Settings should be extended to a 36-day window to accommodate the change.
  5. Click Save.

Once updated, the system should accurately reflect the leave request for March 20 along with its corresponding Document No.
