How to reset password of SQL Server user

To reset password of a SQL Server user, open SQL Server Management. Select Windows Authentication as Authentication Mode and press Connect. 


Open Securty > Logins and right click the user you want to reset and press Properties.


Enter new password and press OK.



Restart SQL Service in order for the changes to take effect. Open Services and search for SQLServer and press Restart and try to login again.
